Yucatan Fiesta 2012 benefitting Carrie’s Heart is coming to the Agave Real event center on Aug. 16.
Yucatan Fiesta is an annual event to raise funds for special needs children sponsored by Carrie’s Heart and the two centers where physical and medical services are received, the organization’s Casitas Corazon in Cozumel and Yucatan, Mexico.
The event will feature heavy appetizers and desserts, a cash bar and a raffle.
There will also be live music by country music star Cooper Wade.
Children’s activities will include swimming, bubbles, face painting, a piñata and HEArt painting for the Casitas with guest artist Frances Rayburn.
Hours for the event will be 6 – 10 p.m., with live music from 7 – 9:30 p.m.
Admission is $10 per person, $5 for students and $25 for a family of three or more. Dress is summer dressy casual.
All proceeds will benefit Carrie’s Heart, a charitable non-profit 501(c) (3) organization that seeks to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities worldwide. Professional and non-professional volunteers travel to serve and collaborate with local professionals rendering care for children with special needs.
