Houston Executive Airport has announced the completion of its newest hangar.
The 26,650 sq. ft. corporate hangar brings the airport’s total available lease space to more than 122,000 square feet.
Airport Executive Director Andrew Perry said the new hangar was built to meet the growing demand for general aviation aircraft lease and office space.
“West Houston is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States and (Houston Executive Airport) is a convenient location to hangar your general aviation aircraft,” Perry said. “It’s just another level of service, convenience and amenities that we offer the Houston market.”
Perry also said the business aviation community has come to expect a high level of service at Houston Executive.
“Since we opened our doors in 2007, we continue to add to our facilities, and we will continue to seek ways to meet the needs of our customers with unmatched service and value,” he said.
Located between Katy and Brookshire, Houston Executive Airport is a private commercial development established by Ron Henriksen, a Houston businessman and pilot with more than 40 years in the aviation industry.
“We have added four corporate hangars over the last two years which demonstrates our positive steady growth,” Henriksen said. “I knew that this location was desperately needed on the west side of Houston and this new hangar allows our expansion to continue”.
Houston Executive Airport featured a 6,610-foot runway that can accommodate all corporate aircraft up to a Boeing business jet. Located on the airport is Henriksen Jet Center which is a full service FBO open 24-hours daily.
Other amenities include more than six acres of concrete ramp, aircraft cleaning, maintenance and aircraft management.
