Hear about the early days of the community of Fulshear during a special program at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library on Thursday, May 17.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.
In the program “Early Texas, Early Fulshear,” a volunteer from the Fort Bend County Museum will provide a brief history of the state of Texas, with a special focus on the Fulshear community and its growth over the years.
Twelve photographs depicting scenes of the Fulshear community dating back to the early 1900s will be installed in the library for permanent display. Some of the photographs include people who have not been identified, and the library is interested in hearing from anyone who might be able to identify these individuals.
The program is free and open to the public.
