A Katy-area man is out on bond after being charged with three counts of possessing child pornography.
HUTCHINS
Kenneth Wayne Hutchins, 56, of the 5000 block of Forthbridge Drive, was arrested after investigators found pornographic images of children as young as 2 years old on his computer.
Earlier this month, investigators with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at Hutchins’ residence, confiscating the man’s laptop computer and several external hard drive devices.
Court records show Hutchins denied downloading child porn; however, a review of the computer and storage devices by specially-trained investigators found videos and “hundreds” of images of children engaging in sexual acts.
Hutchins was formally charged last week and subsequently released on a $20,000 bond on each count.
None of the children depicted in the images or videos are believed to be from the Katy area.
This is the kind of news that makes me physically sick.
