West Oaks Mall will be the site of tomorrow’s KHOU Channel 11 “Spirit of Texas” Blood Drive.
More than 1,000 blood donations are needed daily to help patients in the Texas Gulf Coast region, according to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, and every donation can help save as many as three lives.
All who donate or attempt to donate at the “Spirit of Texas” Blood Drive will receive a commemorative “Commit for Life T-shirt” and a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream.
“West Oaks Mall is proud to be the location for another Commit for Life effort to benefit our community,” said Corne Garcia, marketing director, West Oaks Mall.
The blood drive will begin at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon and run through 7 p.m.
The donor coach will be parked by the Alamo Draft House entrance.
