Abandoned Along IH-45, Corn Bread The Cat Looking For Loving Home

CORN BREAD

This week, Citizens for Animal Protection is looking for a home for Corn Bread, a three-month-old red Tabby boy.

Just like the other corn bread, CAP representative Rita Benton said, this happy feline goes with anything and everything.

“Corn Bread has the sweetest disposition and personality, too.  He likes to be held and cuddled like a baby,” Benton said.

Benton noted Corn Bread was “thrown out like trash” on I-45 at Crosstimbers.

“Not only am I astounded that his personality stayed intact – his body did too,” Benton said.

Benton pointed out if Corn Bread’s rescuer had not been there, the cat “probably wouldn’t be with us today.”

“His Guardian Angel was working very hard that day,” she said.
