School starts Aug. 23 and Katy ISD, along with other local organizations, is hosting several immunization clinics as parents prepare for back to school.
Students must be up-to-date with their immunizations in order to begin school this fall. To determine which immunization students need, visit www.immunizetexas.com.
All clinics listed require a copy of the child’s most recent immunization record.
The Fort Bend Clinical Health Services Department is offering immunizations at the following locations:
- East End Annex, 307 Texas Parkway, Ste. 148 in Missouri City. Hours are 9 – 11:30 a.m. and 1 – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday; Friday 8 a.m. – noon and the second Saturday of every month 9 a.m. – noon.
- Rosenberg Annex, 4520 Reading Road, Ste. A in Rosenberg. Hours are 9 – 11:30 a.m. and 1 – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; Friday 8 a.m. – noon and the first Saturday of every month 8 a.m. – noon, except on Sept. 4.
The Breath of Life Children’s Clinic, located at 21715 Kingsland Blvd., Ste. 103, is also offering back-to-school immunizations on the following days:
- Aug. 9 – 19 (Monday – Thursday); 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Aug. 13, 14, 20 and 21 (Monday – Thursday); 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Aug. 23 – 26 (Monday – Thursday); 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
