Free GRE Prep Test And Strategy Session Scheduled At George Memorial Library

Representatives from the Princeton Review will conduct a free practice GRE test at the Fort Bend County Libraries’ George Memorial Library in Richmond.

The practice test will be held at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7 in Room 2B.

A follow-up strategy session will take place the following Saturday, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. – noon in the same location.

Students will take the practice test during the first session and will review their scores and learn strategy tips to increase their future scores at the second session.

College graduate schools and business schools use GRE scores to evaluate a student’s readiness for graduate-level work. The GRE General Test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills that are not related to any specific field of study.

The sessions are free, but seating is limited and reservations are required.

To register online, go to the library’s website at www.fortbend.lib.tx.us, click on “Calendar,” select “George Memorial Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register in person or by calling the library at 281-341-2604.
