The Jonathan D. Rozier American Legion Post 164 is planning to turn back the clock when they host their annual “Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social” on July 28.

The event will include ice cream stations where those attending can build their own sundae or select from a choice of ice cream cones.
In addition to the ice cream, the Czechmates will provide live entertainment throughout the evening.
The family-friendly event is designed for all ages, from seniors to toddlers.
The social will take place 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday July 28 at the Katy Elks Lodge, 1050 Katy-Fort Bend Road.
The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under the age of six. Second helpings are $3 for everyone.
Hosts and servers will be members of the American Legion Post.
Additional assistance for the event is being provided by the Brookshire Brothers grocery of Katy.
