CAPRI – CAP is looking for a new home for five-year-old Capri, a Powder Puff Chinese Crested and Maltese mix.
This week, Citizens for Animal Protection is looking for a home for Capri, a five-year-old cross between a Powder Puff Chinese Crested and a Maltese.
“I came in with the name Arachi. Sounds like a spider or worse, so I had the staff change it to Capri, because that’s what it looks like I’m wearing,” Capri explained. “It’s certainly more flattering and definitely more feminine.”
Capri said she found herself homeless after her former owners decided she was “one too many.”
“My former parents said after much thought they had too many dogs around their house, and guess what? I drew the short Milkbone and got the boot,” Capri said. “With that kind of love and loyalty, I look upon it as a blessing. I only wish it had happened sooner. I’ll never feel the same about Milkbones, though.”
Capri said the one thing she needs is a “forever” home.
“I need a home. A real forever home that will reciprocate the kind of love and loyalty I’m willing to give,” Capri said, hoping a new family is out there just waiting for her.
