This week, CAP is looking for a home for Brittany, a year-old Sloughi.

CAP representatives said the Sloughi hails from North Africa and dates back to antiquity and are often called Arabian Greyhounds.  All are part of the “sight hound” group of dogs.

“Brittany didn’t get a fair shake with her previous owners.  They got a new puppy and decided to put Brittany outside.  Of course she was lonely and despondent and cried for attention and when she did they would spank her,” CAP said. “She wanted to be part of the family too, only trouble is she chose the wrong family.  When they brought her to us, they said she was a good dog, but was bad.”

“Although Brittany is a sight hound, the only thing she wants to hunt for is a new family and a cache of Milk Bones.  Please find them for her.  She’s had enough grief to last a lifetime,” CAP added.
