Nominations now being accepted for Katy Mills’ “Hardest Working Moms” program benefiting Dress for Success
Area residents who think they know the hardest working mom in the Katy area are being asked to place her name in nomination.
Nominations are being accepted through April 5.
A community-based selection committee will choose as many as ten women who will be honored during Katy Mills’ “Hardest Working Moms” recognition and fashion presentation May 6. Proceeds from the special event will benefit Dress for Success.
Dress for Success is an international nonprofit that promotes economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools.
Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work. Since 1997, Dress for Success has served more than 500,000 women around the world.
All “Hardest Working Moms” honorees will receive prizes including a gift basket and gift certificates to select Katy Mills retailers. Additionally, one special honoree will receive a pair of Continental Airlines tickets good for travel in the continental US and a $100 gift certificate to Valentine’s restaurant inside Hotel Derek.
In addition, a second special honoree will receive a $100 gift certificate to Spec’s and a $100 Simon American Express Gift Card.

There is no cost to nominate someone.
