The Fulshear City Council will hold a special workshop meeting tonight to discuss provisions of the city’s sign ordinance, as well as a major paving project and financial reports and adjustments.

Council members will discuss reviewing the provisions of the city’s current sign ordinance with respect to political signage. Following the discussion, the council may take action on amending the ordinance.

The council will also discuss, and possibly take action on, paving Katy Fulshear Road. The need to resurface the road has been discussed at several recent city council meetings, with possible consideration of asking Fort Bend County for assistance on the project.

Also on the agenda is possible action on approving adjustments to the city’s 2009-`10 budget, accepting an updated list of recurring direct payables,  reviewing the first quarter investment summary and receiving an update on the city budget.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Fulshear City Hall.
