All area middle school and high school students are being invited to submit entries for the Fort Bend County Libraries’ Teen Art Contest for the 2010 Summer Reading Club.
Entries may be submitted to the youth services department of any Fort Bend County library anytime during the month of February.
The theme for this year’s Teen Summer Reading Club is “Within Arms Reach: The Future is Yours!” The winning contest entry that best portrays the theme will be used on the bookmarks and flyers for the Teen Summer Reading Club at Fort Bend County Libraries.
The winner will also receive a $25 gift card from an area bookstore.
The Teen Art Contest is open to middle school and high school students, grades 6-12, only.
Each drawing must be on unlined white paper no larger than 8.5×14 inches, and the final version must be inked in black only. The drawing must be line art, with no shading and no color. The artwork must be appropriate for all ages.
