The congressional campaign of Katy resident Tim Graney has received national exposure after Graney was interviewed by talk radio personality Ed Morrissey of the Ed Morrissey Show.
Morrissey’s program is part of political pundit Michelle Malkin’s HotAir.com.
Morrissey’s own political commentary has also been featured in the Washington Post, New York Post, New York Times, Weekly Standard and other national publications. He has also served as political director for Blog Talk Radio and hosts a weekly radio show on Minnesota’s AM1280 “The Patriot” every Saturday afternoon.
During the interview, Graney outlined the issues he believes are critical to residents in the 14th Congressional District, as well as his plans for addressing those issues.
Following the interview, Morrissey complimented Graney for his grasp of the needs of the district.
“I got to say, for a guy who’s just getting into politics for the very first time, you are certainly well versed in a lot of these issues,” Morrissey said. “I think you’ve done a lot of research; I think you have your feet underneath you.”
Morrissey also called the March 2 District 14 GOP primary as a “race to watch.”
Graney is one of three challengers trying to unseat long-time incumbent Congressman Ron Paul. Others in the race include John Gay and Gerald Wall.
Graney’s full interview can be heard online at Ed Morrissey Show on HotAir.com.

Tim is the kind of candidate we need in all our races. The interview is good and I highly recommend it. It can be found at: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/4280001
Just advance the time about 28 minutes as he is the second quest on the radio program.
If after listening to him, he isn’t your candidate of choice, please let me know what you are looking for because as near as I can tell he represents the “total” package in what we need in Washington and for that matter in Austin.
