The Fourth Annual Katy Home and Garden Show will run tomorrow through Sunday at Katy’s Merrell Center.
This year, the show will feature a live broadcast of KTRH’s Garden Line radio show, hosted by Randy Lemmon.
The live program will take place Saturday from 6 – 10 a.m. Following the broadcast, those attending the show will be able to meet Lemmon and get expert advice on turf and gardening problems.
Saturday’s seminar sessions will include “Decorative Recycling; Reinventing Things You Already Own to Refocus Your Interior Design” at 11 a.m. hosted by Sophia Vassilou of Sophia’s Designs.
At noon, Susan Fruit of Susan Fruit Interiors will present “What’s Cookin’ in the Kitchen and What’s Bubblin’ in the Bath.”
At 1 p.m., Steve Clifton of Scene One Interiors will host “The Art of Building the Perfect Home – The Inside Story.” He will be followed at 2 p.m. by Dawn Frazier of Dawn Frazier Interior Design with “The Wow Effect: The Difference Between Good Design and Great Design.”
Charissa Smith will provide the final program of the day at 3 p.m. with “Updating Your Home Without Breaking Your Budget.”
On Sunday, Susan Fruit will return at 1 p.m. with “Decorating Made Easy – How to Add Wow to Your Home Now,” followed at 2 p.m. by Laura Miralia with “The Two Biggest Decorating Mistakes and How to Avoid Them.”
The show will also feature a host of exhibitors filling the Merrell Center arena floor.
Hours will be 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $8 per person, $6 for seniors and $4 with military ID. Children 12 and under get in free.
