The staff of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library is inviting newcomers in the area to attend a basic introduction to the library, its online catalog and all the resources that become available with a library card.
The orientation sessions will take place every Saturday in July, with the exception of July 4.
The classes will begin at 10:15 a.m. in the library’s computer lab.
Those attending will learn how to access an online library account to reserve items or to renew items already checked out. They will also receive a virtual tour through the library’s website, and will learn how to access the different online services that are available on the website.
The orientation sessions are free and open to the public. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
To register online at the library’s website, www.fortbend.lib.tx.us, click on “calendar,” select “Cinco Ranch Branch Library,” and find the program.
Participants may also register in person or by calling the library at 281-633-4639.
