The Houston Community College Board of Trustees is inviting Spring Branch area residents to a pair of community meetings during which the school will outline its proposed service plan for the Spring Branch community.
The meetings will be held on Thursday, July 9 and Thursday, July 16 in the Performing Arts Center – Theater II of the HCC Spring Branch Campus. Both sessions will begin at 6:30 a.m.
The school plans to discuss the future of higher education, the economic impact of the college to the community and how it plans to expand services to the community.
School officials will also discuss the proposed annexation of Spring Branch into HCC district.
Area residents will also be invited to offer their suggestions for how the college can better serve the community, as well as ask questions about college operations or the proposed annexation.
