The Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers organization said Monday it is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of whoever burglarized a Simonton church.
CHURCH BURGLAR – The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has released this sketch of a suspect wanted in the burglary of a Simonton church.
The Simonton Community Church, at 9703 FM 1489, was burglarized on Dec. 5.
According to Fort Bend County Sheriff’s detectives, the suspect or suspects entered the church after breaking out a plate glass window.
They also forced their way into several locked offices, ransacked a number of rooms in the church and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Anyone with information about the burglary, or the suspects involved, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers, which accepts anonymous calls at 281-342-8477.
